01:02The Eaton fire damaged or destroyed 4,000 to 5,000 structures, while the Palisades

01:07fire destroyed or damaged another 5,300 structures.

01:11The two fires rank as the most destructive in Los Angeles history, consuming 13,750 hectares

01:17and turning entire neighborhoods to ash.

01:20Private forecaster AccuWeather estimates the damage and economic loss at $135 to $150 billion.

01:27Even celebrities' real estate are not spared from the fires.

01:30Paris Hilton watched her Malibu mansion burn down on live TV.

01:34Jamie Lee Curtis, James Woods, Mandy Moore, Mark Hamill, and Maria Shriver are among those

01:44President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appoints Geraldine Faith Ekong as the new presiding justice of

01:48the Sandigan Bayan on January 7.

01:51Ekong replaces the retired Amparo Cabotaje Tang.

01:54She will oversee the anti-graft court responsible for prosecuting high-ranking officials in

01:58cases involving corruption, plunder, and related crimes.

02:01Ekong previously served as an associate justice of the Sandigan Bayan and chaired its 2nd

02:06division.

02:07She has a distinguished legal and judicial career handling high-profile cases.

02:11This includes the pork barrel scam where she voted to acquit Senator Bong Revilla and dismiss

02:15charges against Juan Ponce Enrile.

02:17She was also the author of the ruling that dismissed the coconut levy cases against the

02:21Marcos family and other businessmen.

02:25Authorities confirm on Thursday, January 9, the main suspect in the abduction of American

02:29content creator Elliot Eastman was arrested on January 7.

02:33The 35-year-old suspect, Jakaria Siddiq Jamani, was caught at the border of Zamboanga City

02:37and Basilan Strait.

02:38Three other suspects, Abdul Sahibad, Mursid Ahud, and Fahad Sahibad, were killed in a

02:43police and military encounter in Zamboanga, Cebuguay on November 12, 2024.

02:48Police say Jamani is likely the mastermind behind the abduction of Eastman.

02:52While the motive remains undisclosed, there are speculations that one of the suspects

02:55was jealous of Eastman for marrying his ex-partner.

02:58Eastman's body was allegedly dumped in Zamboanga waters and has not been recovered.

03:04Volleyball player EJ Laure and former child actor Bugoy Cariño will officially get married

03:09in March after years of dating.

03:11The couple share pre-wedding photos on January 9, showcasing a volleyball-themed shoot.

04:02The Hope On The Stage concert will be the first show in the Philippines performed by

04:05any BTS member since the Wings Tour in 2017.

04:09The BTS member also teased new music on Friday, January 10.

04:13It shows J-Hope recording and working on music in a studio, ending with the release date

04:17of March 2025.

04:19J-Hope debuted as a member of K-pop boy group BTS in 2013.

04:23His group is the first South Korean act to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

04:28He made his solo debut in 2018 with his mixtape, Hope World.
