00:00Maritime authorities in Estonia say they have stepped up patrols in the Baltic Sea in a
00:06show of force after last month's suspected cable sabotage.
00:11At least three Estonian Navy ships are part of the patrols by NATO countries following
00:16the damage done to the S-Link 2 power cable and communication links between Finland and
00:22Estonia on December 25.
00:24Suspicion immediately fell on Russia, although nothing has been proven and the Kremlin denied
00:30involvement.
00:32According to the crew of the Estonian mine hunter EML Sakala, officials were keeping
00:38a careful eye using binoculars and cameras on any vessels slowing down suspiciously or
00:45suddenly changing course.
00:47While European authorities have acted more decisively in recent months to hold ships
00:52suspected of sabotage, officials have stopped short of accusing Moscow without proof.
