00:00In the case of Assamble, the Masjid Committee came in front of the Honourable Supreme Court

00:22and the Honourable Supreme Court had put a petition in front of the Masjid Committee

00:26in which they said that the well outside the Masjid should be maintained as it is.

00:32They say that the well is partially inside the Masjid and partially outside the Masjid.

00:36We say that the well is totally outside the Masjid and there was constant worship going on there.

00:42After hearing both sides, the court issued a notice to the UP government on this application

00:47and the court has asked the UP government for a status report.

00:50The court has also asked the private respondents to file their answers.

00:56The court has also said that the state government will not take any action on the notice.

01:20The status quo must be maintained on the so-called well.

01:25We had appeared before the Honourable Supreme Court and our contention and submissions were

01:29that the alleged well is outside the purview of the alleged mosque.

01:33It is outside the mosque and the puja path and all the rituals were happening

01:38from time immemorial and recently that puja path has been stopped.

01:41The court has issued notice in the matter.

01:43The court has asked the UP government to file a status report before the Honourable Supreme Court

01:48before the next date of hearing which is 21st of February

01:51and the court has also directed the private respondents to file their counter affidavit.

01:54Now the case will be heard before the Honourable Supreme Court on 21st of February.
