00:00Oh, my lord, sweet baby Jesus, not Atkinson, lord, not Atkinson.
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're looking at times when the American version of The Traitors made our jaws drop.
00:10We're spoiling some major bombshells from the first two seasons.
00:14I've done the dirty deed. The murder has been done.
00:19Number 10, Kyle realizes Cody's a traitor.
00:22Season one traitor and former Big Brother winner Cody Califuri got way in over his head.
00:30And so, like, I don't- he just said that to me right at the end of the thing.
00:34After he and his fellow conspirators murder Olympian Ryan Lochte,
00:37Cody attempts to throw faithful Kyle Cook off his scent.
00:40I'm like, I'm not bringing that up today at all.
00:43His lie about who Ryan believed to be behind the murders backfires tremendously.
00:48Considering how close Ryan and Kyle were in the game,
00:50it's such a boneheaded decision that it immediately clues Kyle into his identity as a traitor.
00:55It's genuinely hilarious to watch, but it isn't the end.
00:59There's no way Ryan said those three names on the way to the round table.
01:03Ryan's not that kind of guy to just be, like,
01:06spurting out some suspicions or a hunch or a rumor.
01:10Watching Kyle figure it all out and then have to defend himself
01:13against suspicion at the next round table is why we love The Traitors to begin with.
01:17Again, I'm not going to name names because I'm just, like, not, like,
01:20comfortable or confident right now.
01:22Number nine, Dan throws Phaedra under the bus.
01:25Dan Giesling may have bested everyone in The Big Brother house,
01:28but he is no match for the real housewives.
01:43Looking down the barrel of banishment,
01:45he realizes he needs to do something drastic to throw attention on someone else.
01:49He decides to throw a Hail Mary.
01:51Phaedra Parks, his fellow traitor, is the only one of the trio who has no suspicion of her.
02:01In one fell swoop, Dan changes that.
02:09Many fans believe this move is what ultimately makes it impossible for her to win the season.
02:13Dan does end up being unmasked, but the damage has been done.
02:17Whether or not it is what tanked Phaedra's game,
02:20it makes for great TV when she lets him have it on the way out.
02:40Season two finale, three faithfuls left, and a whole lot of money on the line.
02:44Unsure if there's another traitor left in the game to steal it all,
02:48C.T., Trishel, and M.J. are in a full-on standoff.
02:51Although both veterans of the challenge,
02:53Trishel and C.T. have very different agendas going into the last vote.
02:57C.T. votes to banish M.J., but Trishel's paranoia turns her against her season-long ally.
03:12Watching C.T. try to win back her trust with all the prize money on the line
03:15is absolutely enthralling.
03:18Given that we know there are no traitors left,
03:25it actually sets the stage for an incredibly suspenseful ending to a fantastic season.
03:41Going from survivor villain to traitor isn't that big of a leap,
03:44but that is exactly why Parvati Shallow could never really avoid suspicion in season two.
03:50Seeing that everyone is just about to find her out,
03:52she works up a few tears for her competitor, John Bercow.
04:15It's almost chilling how believable she is.
04:21Whether or not he believes her becomes the biggest question mark of the episode.
04:24Well, as it turns out, he is just as good of an actor.
04:28When he finally targets her at the next roundtable,
04:30he delivers a monologue about Parvati's talent for deception and betrayal that is downright poetic.
04:44This is the kind of Shakespearean drama we crave when we watch the show.
05:09Kate Chastain won a lot of hearts in her first season of The Traitors.
05:12Of course, she did that by being an absolute terror for everyone else in the cast.
05:21Her annoyance at her fellow players was so thinly disguised
05:24that by the time she left the first season, she was practically begging to be voted out.
05:28During the barrel challenge in episode six,
05:31the contestants are tasked with collecting heavy barrels worth set amounts of money
05:35and rolling them to a far-off finish line.
05:37Kate, fed up with everyone and everything,
05:40begins throwing the money into the field in full view of her team.
05:44Her bizarre and hilarious reasoning? She's a liability.
05:53Inviting her back for a second season was a no-brainer.
05:56The former Bachelor star known as Pilot Pete
05:59didn't come into season two of The Traitors with a reputation as a strategic mastermind.
06:07However, he proved himself to be a particularly fiendish faithful
06:11with this ploy that narrowed down the list of possible traitors on the show.
06:14He's the only one who's ever been able to do that.
06:17He's the only one who's ever been able to do that.
06:19He's the only one who's ever been able to do that.
06:21He's the only one who's ever been able to do that.
06:24He's the only one who's ever been able to do that.
06:27Lying to Dan, Parvati and CT about having immunity from the night's murder,
06:31The Traitors attempt to murder Bergie that night.
06:34Bergie actually has immunity.
06:40Pete's plan has actually worked.
06:44Little does he know, his plan is actually more successful than he thinks.
06:49Dan and Parvati are both traitors and he suddenly got them shaking in their boots.
06:55And I fully and completely blamed Dan.
07:02Michael Davidson comes under suspicion of being a traitor
07:04and all he can do is throw dirt on another player.
07:14His target is fellow faithful Geraldine Moreno.
07:16He doesn't just bring Geraldine's name to the group,
07:19he completely crashes out at the roundtable.
07:22I was trying to be funny.
07:23Wasn't the best time.
07:25I'm awkward, okay, I have anxiety, okay, it came out.
07:28His desperation and anxiety get the best of him.
07:31He knows it's happening and he doesn't seem to be able to stop it.
07:34I don't know how to talk to people.
07:35You're doing a good job of talking right now.
07:37Poor timing.
07:38You're real good at talking.
07:39It's a classic case of a player not being able to take the heat.
07:42No matter what happens, it seems like a moment that's impossible to come back from.
07:46I need to make sure that I at least have some numbers on my side
07:49so that I can breathe when I get in that room tonight.
07:52And so, yes, honey, I'm looking for every excuse to get you gone.
07:56Number three, Parvati versus Phaedra.
07:58The third roundtable ceremony proved that cracks were already beginning to show
08:02among the season's traitors.
08:03But who has the capacity to perform this part?
08:06Is actors and I think housewives as well.
08:12When the time comes, Parvati shallow shares that she wants her fellow players
08:15to be suspicious of the real Housewives cast members at the table.
08:18You're looking at me like I murdered my boyfriend and all my closest friends.
08:21Well, it's possible.
08:23This puts the heat on Larsa Pippen, Tamara Judge,
08:26Sheree Whitfield and Parvati's fellow traitor, Phaedra Parks.
08:29Don't come for the Housewives, honey.
08:32We are not a gang.
08:33All of the Housewives rebel.
08:35But it's thrilling to watch Phaedra have to defend herself
08:38while also having to hide her treacherous position in the game.
08:41But they have to hash it out again privately in the traitor's turret
08:45and things get heated.
08:46I will not throw you under the bus.
08:48What is it when you say the Housewives?
08:51I was talking about Larsa.
08:52No, you weren't.
08:53You said the Housewives.
08:54That's what you said.
08:55Number two, Sheree betrays Ari.
08:57Sheree Fields played a masterful game.
09:00Played this game from the second I was chosen as a traitor.
09:03She outlasted her fellow original traitors
09:05and earned the remaining Faithful's implicit trust.
09:08In the end, she has one last roadblock.
09:11Yes, she can share the prize money with former Bachelorette contestant Ari Leondyke Jr.
09:15Or she can turn the other players against him and take it all herself.
09:19He did not have to stress the way that I had to stress.
09:23He did not have to come to every breakfast and look surprised.
09:28She chooses the latter.
09:30Ari is clearly upset and can't express it all without blowing up Sheree's spot.
09:34I felt like I'd been stabbed in the back.
09:38I was like, no.
09:41Sheree, how could you do that to us?
09:43So he bows out and reveals himself as a traitor.
09:46Sheree's march to the win is cemented in that one exquisite moment.
09:50All we can do is watch.
09:52I was recruited late and I made that choice.

10:13Number one.
10:14Parvati murders in plain sight.
10:16In the second season's most nerve-wracking sequence,
10:19the traitors are ordered to murder one of their fellow players
10:22in front of everyone without anyone catching on.
10:29One by one.
10:30Each of Parvati's shallow attempts to get one of their disgust targets
10:33to drink from the special cup backfires.
10:35She has to go rogue.
10:36When I leave the show and I find out who the **** was betrayed me,
10:39I'm gonna **** him up hard.
10:44Cheers.
10:44Ekansu Juljulolo just happens to be the only person
10:48she can get to drink from the poison chalice.
10:54What happens from there is equally as delicious.
10:56Phaedra Parks' incredible reaction and Alan finally closing Ekansu's casket
11:01just rounded out one of the show's most surprising and suspenseful storylines.
