00:51My name is Kaizar Shakir and I am the chairman of the Indian Business and Professional Council of Kuwait.

00:57We have come to Orissa to participate in the Prabhasi Bharatiya Diwas with a delegation

01:03of almost 53 people from Kuwait.

01:06Have you been to Orissa before?

01:08No, this is the first time.

01:10Normally, I am from Bombay.

01:12The journey from Mumbai to Orissa is 2 hours.

01:14How is it?

01:16Where have you been?

01:18We went to Puri and Kunark.

01:20It is a very beautiful place.

01:22Kunark Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

01:28We were really impressed.

01:30And with the people of Orissa, the people of Bhubaneswar,

01:34the people who have welcomed us,

01:36the way they have welcomed us with love,

01:40the NRIs, it is commendable.

01:44The dream of a developed India by 2047, what will PM Modi say about it?

01:51Just two weeks ago, PM Modi came to Kuwait.

01:55When he came to Kuwait, he had a two-day journey.

01:59We met him there as well.

02:01He talked about the vision of 2047,

02:06the bilateral trade, the economic development of the country.

02:12I think he is saying 2047, but we should be able to do that in 2040,

02:17if PM Modi stays with us.

02:19For sure, we will be able to do.

02:21Because with him, as NRI, I can very proudly say that we are on the map.

02:26We used to be, but he has cemented the relationship that India has

02:31with all the countries around the world.

02:33It is not only the underdeveloped countries or the developing nations,

02:35but with the advanced nations.

02:37And we are one of the big advanced nations and a country to reckon with,

02:40with the young population.

02:42So, for sure, we are on the right trajectory.

02:44And with the guidance and leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister,

02:47we will attain great heights.

02:49You have said that there are many Indians living in Kuwait.

02:56Yes.

02:57So, in India, especially in Odisha,

03:00this time, as was the Indian Independence Day,

03:04there are many places for capital investment in Odisha.

03:09So, do you have any plans for that?

03:12As I told you, there are more than 10 lakh Indians living in Kuwait.

03:18So, there is a lot of tourism.

03:21The state governments basically are encouraged.

03:25And the government, the Prime Minister himself is encouraging

03:28through Invest India and other platforms for investment in various states.

03:32So, if the state comes out over there and does a road show and a workshop,

03:38definitely investments come into the country.

03:41Because a lot of Kuwaitis, a lot of GCC countries have started investing in the country, in India.

03:46So, Odisha definitely could be an investment opportunity,

03:49an investment hub for the country.

03:51And I, as the Chairman of IBPC, would definitely invite people

03:55from the investment hub of Odisha to come

03:58and we would be there to cooperate at all times.

04:00Sir, in which area would you like to invest?

04:03It could be in real estate, it could be in hotels, hospitality,

04:06it could be in, hospitality is one of the infrastructure works,

04:12would be one of the other.

04:14Or it could be even in medicine and pharmacies as such.

04:18So, because India has been the pharmaceutical hub of this thing.

04:21So, whatever requirements of Odisha would be or to develop Odisha as such,

04:25I am sure that people would be ready to invest in that.
