00:00If you want independence, you must be prepared to take abuses.

00:05Let them call you a whore, a slut, someone of loose character and whatever else they have to.

00:10Let them throw all these things at you.

00:12Fine. I am a slut. That's okay.

00:14But you have been turned into some kind of a goddess.

00:18A goddess who must be respected.

00:20And you say it is a part of our culture that we respect women.

00:23And the woman says, yes, I am respectable.

00:25And if somebody is insulting me, then no, no, no, I'll not take that path.

00:29The fact is that the path of freedom is necessarily a path where your oppressors will insult you.

00:36Why will they not? Think of it.

00:38You are running away from their captivity.

00:40Will they worship you? Will they praise you?

00:43They will obviously throw abuses at you.

00:45And you have to be ready to accept all that.

00:47And you have to be ready for hardships.

00:49But again in that, the woman's softness has been venerated.

00:54So she is told you remain soft.

00:56How will she face the hard challenges of life?
