Zion 'gained a beat' during intense rehab on road to recovery

Zion Williamson said it felt good to make his return after two months out, and that he feels fitter than ever

00:00It was definitely good to be back out there and, you know, it was just good to

00:04see my teammates, you know, competing. You know, the Timberwolves started off hot

00:10but, you know, nobody was really bothered by it. Everybody was like, nah, we good.

00:16Just stick to what we do. And as far as us losing the game, it's just X's and O's

00:24throughout the game that we just got to be better at. No excuse for it. You got to

00:29be better at it. As far as this rehab, you know, me and the Pells, we worked

00:34really hard during this rehab. The focus I had during this rehab was a bit more

00:41extreme. That's why, like I said, my legs are already under me. I feel like I

00:46didn't even miss a beat but gained a beat. And now it's just, I don't have to

00:52worry about trying to find the rhythm. Like I said, over the course of

00:56three to five games, just kind of there and figure out those X's and O's and

01:00just learn from it. Hopefully win some games off it.
