00:13See, first of all, what is this Kumbh?

00:17This Kumbh Parva is a parva of faith for Sanatan Dharmavalambis.

00:22It is a collection of spiritual subjects.

00:25And this is a parva of faith.

00:27This Kumbh Parva is beneficial for all, regardless of the sign, star or planet.

00:35Because this is a parva of faith.

00:38How is it formed? How does it start?

00:41So, it is told to us that on different places, the four main places as you know,

00:47on those four places, in different signs,

00:50this Kumbh Parva is organized by the yoga of Sun, Moon and Brihaspati.

00:54This Kumbh Parva becomes a great coincidence.

00:57So, this year, in Prayag, the great coincidence of Kumbh Parva is being formed.

01:02About this, there is an ancient and traditional basis that

01:06when the situation of Lord Brihaspati is in Virish Rashi,

01:10Sun is in Makar Rashi,

01:12and Moon also goes in Makar Rashi,

01:15then this is the main parva of Kumbh.

01:20When Lord Brihaspati is in Virish Rashi,

01:23Sun is in Makar Rashi,

01:25and Moon is also in Makar Rashi.

01:27When will this happen?

01:28So, on the day of Mouni Amavasya, which we call the Amavasya of Magha Krishna Paksha,

01:32if we call this Kumbh as a single parva,

01:34if we call it as a time of complete coincidence,

01:36then this is the time of complete coincidence.

01:39Apart from this, in Prayag, Kalpavasa has a special importance.

01:43Whether this 12-year coincidence or the 4-year coincidence in Ardh Kumbh,

01:49Kalpavasa has always been mentioned in our scriptures in Prayag, Magha Krishna Paksha.

01:59It has a lot of results.

02:01Perhaps, in our Sanatana Dharma,

02:03there is no other parva with such excellent results as Kalpavasa.

02:08So, when will the beginning of Kalpavasa happen?

02:10So, it is said that the beginning of Kalpavasa happens in the month of Magha.

02:15That is, Kalpavasa goes on in the month of Magha.

02:19So, the beginning of Kalpavasa, that is, Magha Krishna Paksha will take place.

02:23So, the day before that, the day of Purnima of Pausa Krishna Paksha,

02:27people reach there on the same day.

02:29Because Purnima itself is a parva tithi.

02:31It is a special fruit-giving tithi.

02:33Because Purnima, Chaturdashi, Yashtami, Amavasya and Sankranti are called parva tithis.

02:38So, it is a parva tithi in itself.

02:40And in these parva tithis, the special importance of bathing is given.

02:43Because from the next day, Kalpavasa is going to start.

02:47So, one day before that, from the day of Purnima of Pausa Krishna Paksha,

02:51the first bath begins.

02:53And on the same day, after bathing,

02:56taking the oath of water,

02:58and for one month, the Kalpavasi Navy people take the oath of Kalpavasa.

03:02That is, the Mahamandaleshwaracharyagans, Dharmacharyagans,

03:05or our Sadhus and Saints,

03:07whoever wants to do Kalpavasa,

03:09they take the oath of that one month, i.e. Pausa Sukla Purnima,

03:12and take the oath of Kalpavasa for one month.

03:15So, the first bath is the Purnima of Pausa Sukla Paksha,

03:19which is taking place on the 13th, i.e. on the 13th of January.

03:23Apart from that, Makarayan, Makarasi ka Suri,

03:28i.e. the special parva tithis that take place here,

03:33the Makarashankranti parva,

03:35is celebrated in various forms throughout the country,

03:38in different names.

03:41One of its main activities is the bath.

03:44So, the bath is also on the Trimidi plate,

03:46in Sangam, where the Ganga-Jamuna and Saraswati Adrishya Sangam are.

03:49There, Kalpavasa is going on, Magh month is there,

03:52and in that, Brihaspati is joining in Vrisharashi,

03:55and in that Makarashi, with Suri,

03:57a Kumbh Mahaparva Yog is being made.

03:59So, in such a way, the second important bath

04:01is that of Makarashankranti.

04:03Apart from this, when we move ahead,

04:05in Magh month, as we said,

04:07the Purna Sanyoga,

04:08the Purna, from whose name Kumbh is famous,

04:10is the same, as we have been told,

04:12that Brise Guru,

04:13and Makare Surya Chandrecha Kumbh Yoga.

04:16i.e. in Makarashi,

04:17Surya and Chandrama's Yoga.

04:19So, in Makarashi,

04:20Surya and Chandrama's Yoga,

04:21is taking place on the 29th of Mauni Amavasya.

04:23It will take place on the 29th or 28th,

04:25but Amavasya is a parva tithi,

04:27and in Amavasya,

04:28a Purna Sanyoga is being made.

04:30So, the bath of Amavasya,

04:32is the most special bath of Kumbh Parva.

04:34After this, when we move on,

04:36in Magh month,

04:37in the sequence after this,

04:39which comes,

04:40that comes in Basant Panchami.

04:42Basant Panchami,

04:43generally,

04:44is also considered to be

04:45of Pune Dayak,

04:46Pune Pradayika,

04:47and Basant Panchami

04:48is called the Panchami

04:49of Sukla Paksha of Magh month.

04:50So, this is also a bath tithi.

04:52Apart from this,

04:53when we move ahead,

04:54the Purnima of Magh month,

04:56where Kalpavasa ends,

04:58that is a complete bath,

05:00and by bathing in that,

05:02we get the Manuvanshitha Siddhi.

05:05Shivaratri,

05:06and moving ahead,

05:07but this program of Magh month,

05:09is complete here.

05:10If you talk about the Sanyoga of all three planets,

05:13then this is the year-end Kumbh,

05:15because in Brish Rashi,

05:16Brihaspati will start from the last May,

05:18and will remain till the next April.

05:20So, if we take it in the respect of Brihaspati,

05:22then it is the period of one year.

05:23If we take it in the respect of Suri Rashi,

05:25then it is the period of one month.

05:26If we take it in the respect of Chandrama Rashi,

05:28then it will be minimized to two days.

05:30So, according to the extent of our capability,

05:33the time we have,

05:34the capacity we have,

05:36according to that capacity,

05:37we will start from the 13th,

05:39and mainly,

05:40till the 12th,

05:42till the Surya Sankranti,

05:44which does not happen in Brish Rashi,

05:45and Purnima does not happen.

05:46The Purnima of Magh month will happen on the 12th.

05:49So, till the 12th.

05:50That is, starting from the 13th January,

05:53and till the 12th February,

05:55is the period in which

05:57we get Makar Sankranti.

05:59First of all, we get the Purnima of Pausa Sukla Paksha.

06:01After that, we get Makar Sankranti.

06:03After Makar Sankranti,

06:04we get Mauni Amavasya,

06:05that is, the Amavasya of Magh Krishna Paksha.

06:07After that,

06:08we get the Panchami of Magh Sukla Paksha,

06:10that is, the Vasant Panchami.

06:11After that, we will get the Purnima of Magh Sukla Paksha.

06:13So, these four or five main mountains here,

06:16are the special mountains of Kumbh.

06:19Why?

06:20Because we are talking about the conjunction of three planets in Kumbh.

06:22Sun, Moon and Brihaspati.

06:25If we talk about the year,

06:26then we will only get the conjunction of Brihaspati.

06:28So, we get at least two of the three conjunctions.

06:30So, Brihaspati,

06:31Brihaspati of Brihash Rashi,

06:32and the Sun of Makar Rashi,

06:34is from the 13th to the next 12th.

06:36So, this one month period,

06:38is the period of the special Kumbh.

06:39And the most special period in that,

06:41when the Moon also comes in that Makar Rashi,

06:43that is the period of Mauni Amavasya.

06:44And all the other mountains are here.

06:47Kalpavasa has a special importance of its own.

06:49So, no matter which Rashi,

06:51star or planet,

06:53all of them should go.

06:54Why?

06:55Because these spiritual mountains,

06:57are above all other planets and stars.
