સપ્તક દિવસ 7 : સંસ્કૃતિને પ્રકૃતિ છવાયા, માલિની અવસ્થીએ ઠુમરી પ્રસ્તુત કર્યું

અમદાવાદમાં સપ્તક વાર્ષિક સંગીત સમારોહના સાતમા દિવસે પણ શાસ્ત્રીય સંગીતના જાણીતા કલાકારો દ્વારા પ્રસ્તુતિ આપવામાં આવી હતી.

00:09I am from Lucknow and I sing for the entire Banaras Gharana.

00:17Banaras Gharana is known for its Shastri Sangeet, Shastri Mijaz and Deshaj.

00:25It is known for its Sanskars, Ritu and Rang.

00:31It is known for its Abhivyakti.

00:34It has been 10 years since I came to Saptak.

00:40Saptak is the country's most important music festival.

00:49In Ahmedabad, artists from all over the country wait for the new year to meet here.

00:56The biggest thing about this festival is that the artists don't just sing here for a day,

01:01they stay here for 3-4 days and listen to other artists as well.

01:04Earlier, Shraddhe Nandan Bhai, Manju Didi and others had made such connections with the artists.

01:13It is a very sad thing that this festival takes place without Manju Didi.

01:16But as they say, our tradition should continue.
