અમદાવાદમાં સપ્તક વાર્ષિક સંગીત સમારોહના સાતમા દિવસે પણ શાસ્ત્રીય સંગીતના જાણીતા કલાકારો દ્વારા પ્રસ્તુતિ આપવામાં આવી હતી.

00:10who is my uncle and I have been playing Bhasri since the age of 5.

00:18I am still playing and still learning.

00:22This is a life that will go on, learning and playing.

00:26And today I am coming to Ahmedabad to present my program.

00:31And tonight is my program.

00:35This is a festival that has been going on for so many years.

00:39It is a festival of at least 14-15 days and all the artists come here.

00:43So playing here is a blessing.

00:46Our elders have come here one day before us and we present there.

00:53And there are pictures of all the artists in front of us.

00:56So here you get the feeling that you are under the umbrella of a good blessing.

01:02So this is a very famous stage of all.

01:06The artist who gets it, he gets four moons in playing his songs.

01:11Sir, you are a Bhasriwadan.

01:13What is the style of Bhasriwadan?

01:16There are two styles in Bhasriwadan.

01:19One is light music and the other is classical.

01:21So I will present classical music today.

01:23By the way, I also play light music.

01:26I have played it in film lines, in Bollywood, in many songs.

01:29But today my presentation is classical music.

01:33We come from the Mayyar family.

01:35Ali Akbar Khan, Ravi Shankar and Hari ji are also from the same family.

01:39So I will pass the same family forward.

01:43When you talk about the Mayyar family, the Mayyar family is different from other families.

01:47What is the difference?

01:49The difference is that there is a way of playing a song.

01:52There are different school colleges and their study curriculums are different.

01:56So there is a Mayyar family.

01:58Now whoever is playing Bhasri, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia is a family for them.

02:04The one who is playing Tabla, Ustad Zakir Hussain is a family for them.

02:07So people follow their idol.

02:11But if someone asks you what your family is, you should say that we are from the Mayyar family.
