स्वरोजगार के साथ रोजगार सृजन पाठ्यक्रम पर जोर देगा इक्फाई यूनिवर्सिटी -कुलपति

इक्फाई यूनिवर्सिटी झारखंड में कौशल आधारित शिक्षा पर जोर देने का फैसला किया है.

00:00A new floor has been added to the campus where we are living now.

00:06The management has already spent 22 crore rupees to build a smart city.

00:14We are the first university to get land in Smart City.

00:17This is a very good news.

00:20We haven't got a physical possession yet.

00:23We will get a physical possession in a year or two.

00:26Iqbal University, Jharkhand will be the first university in Smart City.

00:35We have got 10.28 acres of land there.

00:38We will have a hostel there and all facilities will be better.

00:43Apart from this, the new things that we want to do and are planning to do

00:48is a professional certification program.

00:51Along with normal graduation, there are many programs for extra skill development.

00:58These programs are for all three streams.

01:00They are for law, management and science and technology.

01:04In today's time, HO is considering this very seriously.

01:08Because in NEP, industry orientation has been given a lot of stress.

01:13We are appointing industry professionals as a professor of practice here.

01:22We have integrated all the MOUs in different programs,

01:28in seminars, workshops and faculty development programs.

01:34These programs continue throughout the year.

01:36So, many things have been added.

01:39I would like to give two examples.

01:41There is a company called Grand Thrompton,

01:44which is planning to tie up many management programs

01:49as a certification program and value addition in BBA and MBA.

01:57Their presentation is scheduled to take place on 15th in Hyderabad with our honourable president.

02:04Another requirement in Jharkhand area is that of paramedical courses,

02:10which is not happening anywhere else.

02:13There is a company called Virohan,

02:16which is based in Gurgaon.

02:18We are planning to tie up with them as well.

02:20Their presentation is scheduled to take place on 24th January.

02:23If this tie-up takes place,

02:25we can orient our students in many different areas.

02:31We are encouraging job-oriented and skill-oriented programs.

02:35Our placement program is very successful.

02:40We give internships to our students after every event semester,

02:44except for the first year.

02:45We also arrange for their placement in the final semester.

02:50In addition to this,

02:52we have tied up 2-3 companies in the training aspect as well.

02:59We are preparing them for interviews and CVs,

03:03which is normal these days,

03:05and is also part of NEP.

03:06In addition to this,

03:08we are providing avenues for their competition preparation.

03:14So that our students not only get a wholesome education,

03:19but also get a good job and employment.

03:24This is our effort for Jharkhand.

03:27We are trying to cover everything.

03:32We are thankful to the present government and our management

03:38for giving us this opportunity.
