He said they should not follow the leader blindly but give advice or suggestions when they see the need for improvement.

I want to reaffirm once again, as I have repeated this many times, that a single minister,
00:19
no matter how great we are, one or two people, will not achieve all the achievements that I mentioned earlier
00:30
if there are not 15,000 people involved. Thank you to all of you.
00:38
What I always say, I am guided by the civil servants. I am guided by the civil servants who is led by our CEO
00:46
I am guided by the civil servants, especially in Kesumar, who is led by our CEO, our KSU, Dato' Asmah.
01:06
That's why in my speech, I gave a general statement.
01:12
It is our KSU who gave a specific statement on what needs to be done.
01:15
He is our CEO.
01:17
I hope this culture will continue, where not every time a minister will be right.
01:27
It is very far.
01:29
Because the minister does not understand many procedures in public services,
01:34
such as management, management guidelines, which are far more facile than the two of us.
01:42
So we must be guided by him.
01:44
There must be a way in which he can give advice and guidance to the minister at the same time.
01:56
So if the minister should be advised by the civil servants,
02:00
then our civil servants, our heads of state, our SUBs must also have the attitude in which they can accept the views of other staff.
02:14
But don't let the staff say that the minister gave a mandate, he gave a permit, he got angry at the civil servants.
02:22
Give advice, look at it, accept it. That's our culture.
02:26
But don't be afraid to have different views.
02:30
In our culture, sometimes we say it is not possible.
02:34
All leaders are right.
02:36
The leader is 100% right.
02:38
He can't be wrong.
02:40
Even if he makes a mistake, it's okay, he's right.
02:42
We have to be loyal.
02:44
Loyalty to the leader, loyalty to our country does not mean that we cannot give advice,
02:50
give enlightenment when we see something that is not right.
02:54
As a person who holds the trust in the government,
03:00
who takes care of the people's pocket money,
03:02
we must dare to give different views to the leaders,
03:10
advise the leaders.
03:12
If you see something that is wrong, give advice, give enlightenment, give enlightenment.
03:16
And I assure you that as a minister of Sumatera,
03:22
I will stand by you.
03:24
I will stand together with my fellow citizens
03:28
if we do the right thing.
