00:00We received a complaint on 29th December which we lodged an FIR at Tinsukia Police Station.

00:08It was a case of human trafficking.

00:11Two minor girls were abducted from their school.

00:17We were told that the incident took place on 26th December.

00:23We lodged an FIR and filed the complaint on 29th December.

00:27During the course of investigation, we were given some names of the suspects.

00:34We apprehended them quickly.

00:37They told us that there is further involvement of more people.

00:42In the course of investigation, we found out that there were 9 people.

00:469 accused persons in this case.

00:48We felt that this is a racket of human trafficking.

00:53Because of the persistent action of Officer Riyaz Ali, we sent a team to Arunachal to

01:01rescue two minor girls which we successfully did.

01:05We rescued one from Itanagar and one from Nahar Lagoon.

01:12We apprehended the 9 accused persons from Assam and Arunachal.

01:19I would like to appreciate the efforts of Riyaz Ali and his team who took swift action

01:28and carried out the operation.

01:30They apprehended the accused persons and rescued the minor girls.

01:43Now the matter is under investigation.

01:46We have information about 9 people whom we have apprehended at the earliest.

01:53So, the investigation will take its course.

01:57Since the matter is under sub judice, we don't really know if there is a mastermind.
