00:47associations and senior government, the invitation regards to Dr. Ravi Kota, who has been doing

00:55stellar work and the kind of a momentum that the second edition of the Advantage Assam

01:02event is taking on. So, as you all know, it is and as a run up to that, which is the main

01:10event happening in Assam from 25th, 26th of February, between now and respective countries,

01:18which are representing here. So we are very happy and grateful that you could take our

01:22time to know what the state already offers. We will also get to see today, Dr. Lakshmanan,

01:29the Secretary Industries, who is going to take us through what is the kind of a preparation

01:34that is going for which the CEOs or the CXOs coming in from respective countries, the kind

01:40of grounding that we may need to create for them as we open it up, we get your viewpoints,

01:47how can we make this better, groundings for it. So, it is more like a collaborative stuff

01:54that we are looking at. So, with that, I am once again conveying my deeper views on the

02:01state of Assam and how we are progressing, looking forward for the next few years of

02:08development journey. Next slide, please.

02:11Point which I would like to bring to your notice is that, we are having an extremely

02:15healthy 12.6 percent is because of growth rate of CAGF and the last fiscal, our growth

02:22sector has come. And with such a growth rate, with such a recorded improvement, we are targeting

02:30to double. Now, coming to our strengths, potentials and the effort, which we are taking in.

02:38In fact, Assam is in the center point of South and Southeast Asia, rich in natural resources

02:45and a very, very business friendly government with ideal policy ecosystem in hand. Of all

02:51the ASEAN countries and the remaining parts of South Asia like Bangladesh, about 30 percent

02:58of the world population with three to four hours of flying time. The distance to many

03:03of these ASEAN capitals are less than what we have to do here in Mumbai.

03:07The international airport in Guwahati, this is one of the busiest airports in the country

03:12about now. In the logistic part, about 150 kilometers on the western side of Guwahati.

03:17This is well connected with Brahmaputra river port, railway lines.
