REPLACED PTI MP : High Court gave 6 weeks time to the state government in the matter of disposal of Union Carbide waste. (Updated)

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has given 6 weeks time to the state government to calm the discontent arising around Pithampur.

00:00On 3rd December, the High Court ordered the Government to take away the toxic waste from Bhopal and incinerate it in Pitampura and destroy it.

00:16The High Court was supposed to take action on this.

00:22Today the Government of Bhopal has presented a letter to the High Court.

00:26In this letter, the Government of Bhopal has told us what steps have been taken so far.

00:30The important thing is that the government said in their letter that some interested people are spreading false information,

00:41which is making people unnecessarily agitated.

00:44And because of that false information, they have not yet begun the process of incinerating.

00:51The government asked for extra time from the High Court in their letter,

00:56so that the order of 3 December can be followed.

01:00After the election, Mani Uchinele has ordered that the state government should remove the false information

01:06that is spreading in the public.

01:14He has also stopped the media from publishing fake news about the toxic waste of Bhopal gas.

01:24The government has also asked the High Court to allow the unloading of the toxic waste from Bhopal to Pitampura.

01:48Mani Uchinele had a clear view that the High Court's order is not necessary for this task.

01:56The government is free to follow the order of 3 December.
