The Madhya Pradesh High Court has given 6 weeks time to the state government to calm the discontent arising around Pithampur.

00:00Today, some intervenors tried to raise the fact that toxic waste is in a very large quantity.

00:11But the previous order of the High Court, in which the High Court had divided it into three stages.

00:18In the first stage, the toxic waste that was lying open and loose, had to be brought and destroyed in Pitampura, incinerated.

00:26In the second stage, the Bhopal Gas Factory had to be dismantled and cleaned.

00:32And in the third stage, the toxic waste buried in the 87-acre plot of the Bhopal Gas Factory had to be neutralized.

00:44Right now, the process is going on in the first stage, in which the toxic waste that was available at that time,

00:54which had been lying there for many years, is being taken to Pitampura under the direction of the High Court,
