01:43from then till now, whether in the parliament, through the assembly, through the government,

01:48through the elected representatives, through the officers,

01:52it was repeatedly asked that Jammu should get its railway division.

01:58And today, on behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,

02:01on behalf of the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi,

02:06and on behalf of the Rail Minister, Mr. Vaishnav,

02:09I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart

02:12that today, on behalf of the Prime Minister, this railway division will have a good start.

02:17The responsibilities of this railway division are increasing

02:21because firstly, in a few days, it is expected that

02:24Srinagar and Katra will be completely connected to the railway.

02:28But along with that, the talk of increasing the network of this railway,

02:33whether through Rajouri Panch in Jammu or in Kashmir,

02:37the work of connecting Baramulla with Kupwara and other places,

02:42will now be the responsibility of this division.

02:45With the presence of this division, it is expected that

02:49the people who will have to deal with this project,

02:52the people through whose lands this project will go,

02:56it will be easier to keep them in touch,

03:00it will be easier to consult them,

03:03it will be easier to include them in the progress.

03:07I know that our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi,

03:11is trying very hard to connect Jammu and Kashmir

03:15in terms of connectivity and transport.

03:23which is a very big proof today that this is the Jammu Rail Division,

03:27whether it is through roads,

03:30the work of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway is being done very fast,

03:35the work of completing Jammu-Srinagar Highway in four lanes is being done very fast,

03:41the work of Jammu-Kashmir with Ladakh through the Z-Mode Tunnel and Zojila Tunnel,

03:48and the work of airport expansion is being done very fast.

03:51Work has already started in Jammu.

03:53It is expected that work will start in Srinagar very soon.

03:57The benefit of all this will be that

04:00the connectivity and transport network of Jammu and Kashmir

04:04will make it easier for the people of Jammu and Kashmir to connect with other countries.

04:10And it is expected that work will be completed very soon.
