Gangasagar pilgrims who get stuck in Muriganga river due to low tide and fog will now get food and other items delivered by special drones.

00:00Our bathing day is from 14th April 6.58 am to 15th April 6.58 pm and it will last for 24 hours.

00:08We have been preparing for this Sagar Mela since June-July.

00:13We have been coordinating with various departments like irrigation, dredging, PHE, lighting, drinking water, sanitation,

00:21BWD roads, barricading, police arrangements,

00:26many officers of the rank of DSP and above, many forces are accommodated here.

00:32Along with that, we have various other departments like disaster management department,

00:36fire department, health department, beds are being prepared here.

00:42Not only Sagar, we have Sagar, Namkana, Benoban, Chimaburi, Lot 8, Kochubedi,

00:48MC and PHE of Outram Ghat are being arranged.

00:51Then, the entire road, the traffic, where the traffic is managed,

00:55starts from that traffic management.

00:57As the traffic increases, there is a buffer zone in the middle.

01:01That buffer zone is attached to us.

01:02If the traffic increases, then we have to keep these buses in the buffer zone for some time.

01:07There, again, water, food, those arrangements are in the buffer zone.

01:11So, these arrangements are such massive-scale arrangements.

01:15We have been here for a couple of days.

01:17Now, the crowd has started to come.

01:19So, our operations are still in the control room.

01:22This is our mega control room.

01:24One of the very important IT initiatives, which supervises our fair.

01:29These are our eyes and ears.

01:31In this big screen, you can see, this is our PTMS.

01:34It is not yet fully functioning.

01:37It will be functioning in a couple of days.

01:41In this fair, there will be vessels, launches, ambulances, buses.

01:46Everything is GPS-friendly.

01:48You can track all kinds of cameras.

01:50So, everything will come here.

01:53Along with that, there will be about 1,100-1,200 CCTV cameras.

01:59Along with that, drones are going.

02:01These drones will show the footage here.

02:03These drones are everywhere.

02:06I gave you the points of the fair.

02:08From Sagar, Kochug area, Lot 8, Otram Ghat, Babu Ghat, Kolkata, to our Bhamkhana.

02:15There will be uninterrupted drone footage at all the points.

02:20So, this is one of our major IT initiatives.

02:23Along with that, we have many other IT initiatives.

02:26Like QR code, where you can get information about the things you need in the fair.

02:33Along with that, there will be children, who will get a certificate from the government.

02:43The government will give them a certificate.
