00:00The Sabah people's coalition is seen to be uninterested in forming a partnership with any party that opposes the PRN.

00:09Bilce Bala from the Sabah University of Malaysia said the latest statement by President Warisan Shafi'i Abdal

00:16that the GRS has rejected several offers to discuss the possibility of cooperation

00:21based on the desire of GRS Chairman Haji Jinnur to continue cooperation with his friend, the Hope Alliance.

00:29Bilce said the GRS had previously refused to cooperate with the National Alliance and Percuang

00:35in order to maintain the stability of the GRS-PH coalition.

00:39Bilce said the GRS's decision to reject Warisan and other opposition parties in the country

00:45had nothing to do with ideological differences,

00:48but rather an effort to strengthen ties with PH, which is now in conflict with the government.

00:55Bilce's colleague, Lee Kwok Tiong, said the previous attempt by Warisan

01:01to bring down the leadership of the GRS and open criticism of Haji Jinnur

01:06did not help Warisan's efforts to work together.

01:10Ramno Sabah and Warisan were reported to have initiated an attempt

01:14to dethrone Haji Jinnur in January 2023, but failed.
