00:00Finally, on January 7th, Secretary Austin will travel to Rammstein, Germany for the
00:0525th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group to reaffirm our enduring commitment
00:10to Ukraine.
00:12Together with defense ministers and military leaders from around the globe, Secretary Austin
00:16will focus on delivering practical and coordinated support that reinforces Ukraine's ability
00:21to defend itself today and deter aggression in the future.
00:25We'll have more details to share on the Secretary's official engagements at Rammstein in the coming
00:29days.
00:30And will there be another leader-level meeting led by President Biden, as planned before,
00:34or is this the last meeting during this administration?
00:37And second question, should we expect more PDA announcements for Ukraine in the coming
00:40weeks?
00:42Thanks for the question.
00:43So in terms of PDA announcements, I'm not going to get ahead of anything and I have
00:46no announcements to make today.
00:48What I had said at the beginning of the press briefing was that on January 7th, the Secretary
00:54will be leaving for Rammstein for the UDCG and that will be the 25th meeting of the
01:00Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
01:02In terms of the President's schedule, you know, I'm not going to speak for that.
01:04I'd refer you to the White House for anything that involves travel for the President.
01:09Questions related to Ukraine.
01:11Is there any planning underway for another UDCG if the next administration chooses to
01:17continue or do you believe this is the last one?
01:21I can only speak for this administration.
01:23Right now, there's only planning for, I can only speak for the planning that is involved
01:27in this upcoming UDCG, which will be, the Secretary is leaving on January 7th.
01:34Should the incoming administration, incoming secretary choose to host more UDCGs, that's
01:39a determination made for them.
01:41I just can't speak to that.
01:42And the 1.25 billion PDA announced on December 30th, will that all get there by the 20th?
01:52That one package?
01:54That one announcement?
01:55Yeah.
01:56No.
01:57So PDAs, because it's announced, does not, and I think we've said this pretty publicly
02:01as well, PDAs, as they get announced, capability and equipment flows off our shelves as it's
02:10available.
02:11So it is very likely that you are going to see more capabilities continue to flow to
02:16Ukraine post this administration.
02:19That's very normal.
02:20When PDAs get announced, we've had PDAs announced from November, December, that capability continues
02:26to flow.
02:27That doesn't mean that that package is necessarily closed out.
02:30It does take, some equipment can get there within days, some equipment, as you know,
02:35can take much longer.
02:36Great.
02:37Charlie.
