00:00BUMN Minister Erick Thohir inspected the International 2F International Departure Terminal

00:06at Sukarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang City, Banten, Rabu 1 January,

00:10which has been allocated specifically to serve the Jamah Umroh flight.

00:15In a press conference held after the inspection, Erick said,

00:20the special flight service can reduce the density of departure

00:24and arrival of Jamah Umroh, which was previously combined at Terminal 3 with other passengers.

00:30Various facilities provided are also expected to make passengers, family members,

00:36and those who pick up the Jamah Umroh are more comfortable.

00:39According to the daily average, there are 10,000 people who depart and return to Umroh via Sukarno-Hatta Airport.

00:47This is why we re-arrange the schedule,

00:50how there is a good mosque,

00:52there is a good manasik place,

00:54then there is a good lounge,

00:56and for the regulars, I have asked them to be tidied up,

01:01not just the VIP,

01:05not just the middle class,

01:08but the other classes must have the same priority of service.

01:13What we do at 2F is part of our efforts to improve the service,

01:18especially for the Jamah Umroh,

01:19because they have specific characteristics and needs,

01:23because they are traveling in a large group and their needs are different.

01:33Erick added that the renovation of Terminal 2F is quite efficient compared to the need to build a new terminal,

01:40which was previously planned by spending Rp 14 trillion.

01:44Meanwhile, the renovation cost is only Rp 1 trillion.

01:49Operational Terminal 2F for the service of Umroh special flights

01:53is targeted to start serving passengers at the end of January 2025

01:57and in 2026 it is scheduled to be used for Hajj services.
