Azerbaijan's president says airliner that crashed was shot down by Russia

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev added that it was unintentional but criticised Moscow for trying to “hush up” the shooting for days.

00:31First of all, the Russian side must apologize to Azerbaijan.

00:42Thirdly, those responsible must be punished, brought to criminal responsibility, and compensation

00:54must be paid to the Azerbaijani state, to the injured passengers and crew members.

01:05for what he called a tragic incident over Russian airspace, but stopped short of admitting
