00:00This is a live report from the Davao City Police Station in Davao City.

00:11Individuals have been arrested for illegal drug trafficking since December 22, 2020.

00:16According to the Davao City Police Office's report,

00:19a vehicle was stopped at a regular checkpoint in Davao City.

00:24Five people were arrested for illegal drug trafficking.

00:28They were charged with 3.2 million pesos.

00:32They were arrested together with Ronnie, 37 years old, from Maramagbukidnon,

00:38and Gem, 29 years old, from Balinsag, Misamis Oriental.

00:43They were arrested and taken to Republic Act No. 9165,

00:48Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

00:53This is a campaign against illegal drugs.

00:56I believe that drugs are one of the reasons why criminals are hiding in one place.

01:02The worst thing is that under the influence of illegal drugs,

01:07there are rapes and murders of family members.

01:14This is one of the focus of this campaign.

01:18The Davao City Police Station is preparing for the next day's event

01:24where a gift-giving activity will be held in Davao City.

01:29It will be held by the Duterte family this Christmas on December 25.
