00:00The Philippine National Police or PNP has seized more than 500 illegal firecrackers

00:05and arrested several individuals in various areas of the country who were engaged in the

00:10selling of the band Merrymaking online. The PNP anti-cybercrime group has ramped up its

00:17cyber patrolling efforts by collaborating with social media platform TikTok to also

00:22prevent scams related to the selling of substandard and illegal firecrackers.

00:28The PNP earlier issued a warning against the illegal activity as it fears that not

00:33only are the said items dangerous but may also actually be smuggled.
