‘Christmas miracle’ as goat returns after months on the run

MacGyver had been on the run from the Kent Wildlife Trust site at Wouldham Common in Rochester for three months before reappearing last week.

00:00Back in September, we had 15 goats at Wardham Common. It's close to the public, so we didn't

00:06expect anything unusual to be there. We went to go check the goats as usual, and a volunteer

00:13said that there was not 15. One of our area managers, Steve Weeks, he went there to go

00:20and check out the situation, and we realised he had got on the other side of the fence.

00:25We asked our volunteers, if you've got time, please go and see him, but no, no use. Then

00:31three months later, last week, my trainee came and called me, and she was so excited.

00:38She was just like, he's back, he's back, you won't believe it. I didn't believe it, I thought

00:44she was pulling my leg, but she sent me a picture, and he was staring at his brother

00:49just constantly for a good few minutes. He was like, I can't believe you're back either.
