(Adnkronos) - “Le neuroscienze sono la seconda area di applicazione della ricerca farmaceutica, ricerca che sta aumentando molto e che conta ormai 23mila prodotti totali allo studio di cui le neuroscienze rappresentano una buona parte. Sono circa il 20% dei nuovi studi clinici lanciati nell'ultimo anno. Possiamo aspettarci prodotti nuovi che curino bisogni ancora non soddisfatti e anche prodotti che aiutano a gestire la qualità della vita dei pazienti e dei caregiver, che è una dimensione molto importante di cui la ricerca deve tenere conto” ha dichiarato Carlo Riccini, vice direttore generale e direttore Centro studi Farmindustria, all’evento istituzionale ‘La salute parte dal cervello. Le Neuroscienze in Italia. Passato, presente e futuro’ promosso a Palazzo dell’informazione a Roma da Lundbeck Italia, azienda biofarmaceutica danese specializzata nelle neuroscienze, in occasione del 30° anniversario di attività e impegno nel nostro Paese.
