00:34but of course when I sing for him now knowing that he is my husband it truly makes the overall

00:48Devotion is something it's a genre which is very very close to my heart I'm a very spiritual
00:55and religious person so whenever I sing something which is devotional it is coming right from
01:02my heart it's me it's my soul my character I'm not singing for a character anymore so
01:07yeah it's always it's always very very special it comes naturally to me.
01:17Like I said the process was truly professional because we both are very very serious professional
01:22people so when I entered the studio it was exactly the same as it was before marriage
01:28I was behaving as a singer he was giving me directions as a music composer I could not
01:35even think of him as my husband while I was recording honestly that is the you know power
01:39he has as a professional I have always respected his work as a music composer even before but
01:45as soon as I got out of the studio obviously he was the first person I wanted to share
01:49my happiness with and the lyrics are written so beautifully by Saiji and it's a very emotional
01:54story also directed by Anil Sharmaji that the lyrics were quite you know they were quite
02:01dignified respectful in the romantic genre which is exactly how I feel for Mithunji so
02:08that I would say emotion was definitely personal but otherwise it wasn't there wasn't much

02:20I think me as a person and it reflects whenever I speak whenever I appear in public that I
02:30am very very spiritually rooted so I am approached also for such kind of songs and whenever a
02:39devotional song comes to me I get very excited because as I said that's a genre for which
02:43I don't have to think about the character or even the story of the film it's the devotion
02:50that comes right from my heart.
02:57There weren't any musical challenges as such I would say that both the projects are quite
03:02different both the songs were extremely different and I take a song as a project I work on it
03:10very very technically I would say because emotion is they come inherently I mean I am
03:16an emotional person I don't have to put emotions in the song when I sing naturally it sounds
03:20emotional but technique my overall process the way I approach a song and everything is
03:25very technical and that's how I approach these two projects.
03:29I feel that auto-tune is a technical advancement it should not be relied upon as a talent or
03:42as a talent enhancement tool also because the singer needs to sing in sur I feel other
03:47for to be called a singer it's mandatory to sing in sur and for which we do a lot of
03:52riyaz for years and obviously people are blessed with voice but you definitely have
03:58to work on it for it to sound in a certain way and auto-tune is used in most of the songs
04:05for the sound enhancement it is a very technical tool I would say which is used by people by
04:14us but I don't think it should be taken as a substitute for singing for sure.
04:23I don't criticize his work I respect him a lot to do that and obviously his work doesn't
04:30need any criticism I go to him when I'm stuck because he's much more experienced and I take
04:36advantage of that so whenever I'm stuck professionally or if we try not to discuss work as much as
04:42possible but whenever I need his opinion I go to him but he's also not I wouldn't say
04:48he is critical of my work he's very very supportive but when I'm going wrong he definitely
04:54tells me I am.
05:00Like I said devotional genre is it comes very naturally to me in fact when I'm singing a
05:06devotional song I am not thinking about the song at all I just read the lyrics I learn
05:12the tune and I just sing it is the easiest genre for me because the emotions come very
05:18very naturally as I am a very religious person.
05:26Something that I didn't want to reveal but I would say now I'm working on an English
05:31language project and yeah I really like singing English songs as well but this is the first
05:36time people will be hearing me singing English.
