00:00We know that three people are dead, including the suspect shooter.

00:09We know that the suspect shooter was a teenage student who attended the school.

00:15At this time, we're not releasing the age or gender of the student or any other identifying

00:21remarks about the student.

00:24Two other people that died were a teacher and a teenage student.

00:32Six other people were injured.

00:34Two students are now in critical condition in the hospital, and these injuries are considered

00:41life-threatening injuries.

00:44Four students are also at other area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

00:54Many of you have asked me about the why of this, why did this happen?

01:11What do we know?

01:12What was the motivation?

01:13I do not know, but I will tell you this.

01:17Our detectives are working hard in the investigative process to find out as many answers as we

01:22can, so that we can further prevent these things from happening.

01:34I don't have a lot of information, I just know there was an active shooter, and that's

01:40about it.

01:41I really don't have a ton to say, all I know is that it was a traumatic experience that

01:46I had to get here as soon as possible, as close as I possibly could.

01:53I know that my daughter is safe, from what I've heard, you don't think you're going

01:57to go through this, and like I said before, I bring my daughter to school knowing well

02:05that this happens in the world, that people are struggling, and I pray for my daughter's

02:12safety.

02:13I pray for the entire school's safety, I pray for the hearts of the students, the

02:16teachers, the staff members, it's a very real thing, and I'm very aware that the world

02:22is like this.
