00:23The film is a queer story about a girl who falls in love with a barista at her local coffee shop

00:29and the emotional journey that she goes on learning to overcome fears of self-acceptance, rejection.

00:36The number one thing I want viewers to walk away with is, one, a sense of fun.

00:42Even though it has a story and it means a lot to me and is kind of personal,

00:47I do try to infuse it with this emotional vibrancy, or tonal vibrancy I should say.

00:53And that's sort of my goal as a filmmaker in general, to move people through entertaining them.
