00:07forward to sunrise in about three and a half hours.

00:11It's a huge effort to get weather equipment up to these elevations,

00:14that's why it hasn't really been done before.

00:18The snow and ice that you see here,

00:20eventually is going to make its way down into the Amazon.

00:24It's not just water in the river,

00:26it's water in the glaciers, in the atmosphere, in the clouds.

00:30The Amazon is the heart of the planet,

00:33and all these rivers are the veins of this heart.

00:39There are some people trying to make the difference.

00:43So everybody can keep enjoying this beautiful and amazing place that is our planet.

00:50It's going to be really neat to see what's going on in there.
