00:47When I was offered this movie,

00:50I was about to finish it when I was young.

00:52I just did one project at a time

00:56so that I can focus on one project at a time.

01:00Just to be fair to the producers, the director, and my character,

01:04I want them to pay attention to me

01:07because when I was young,

01:09I was working on 5 projects at the same time

01:12until I didn't know who I really was.

01:15On my first day, I had to ask who I was with,

01:18who my leading man was, who my director was,

01:20what action was this, comedy, or drama.

01:22I realized that it's not healthy

01:25to accept that you're not doing your job right.

01:30It's unfair.

01:31It's not just about money.

01:32That's where I am now, Sam.

01:34Let's make quality projects

01:36because I want my kids to watch this.

01:40I want them to be proud of their mom.

01:42I want them to be proud of my work and my craft.

01:45So, when Espantajo came up,

01:48I just said,

01:50I have to finish this project first.

01:53We just went there because Lucho had a football game.

01:56We just finished that.

01:58Then, when I came back, I was ready.

02:01At least, I was focused.

02:03Then, when I came back, the cast was complete.

02:05I didn't hesitate because

02:07when you have trust in your work,

02:10you just have to go in.

02:13This is the horror.

02:14I was really excited to watch

02:16because they love watching horror.

02:18So, our kids are a big factor

02:22in the creation of Espantajo.

02:24As long as their mom is strong,

02:26I want them to experience it.

02:28I'm excited for them to watch it.
