Greenpeace: fracking should be banned in Hungary

The water-intensive gas extraction technology - known internationally as fracking - has been banned in several European countries, but is still used in Hungary.

00:28to the side, and in this drilling they press in the waste liquid, which is decidedly water and sand,

00:40but it also contains all kinds of acids, biocides, such as carbon dioxide and various harmful substances,

00:47which, based on experience, cannot guarantee that they will not reach the environment.

00:54Benzol was nearly double the one-day limit value at one point and at the other point,

01:03so if we exceeded the one-day limit value in 13 days, then we would have exceeded the one-day limit value for several days.
