00:00This is not happening for the first time.
00:04I have been constantly feeling the opposition
00:09that the Honourable Speaker, whom I respect a lot,
00:16who is also an old friend of mine,
00:19we used to live together,
00:21he used to be in our party,
00:24we used to live together in the Parliament as well.
00:28For some time now,
00:33they have not been giving the opposition a chance to speak.
00:39And when we asked for a discussion on 267 in this area,
00:48because for the first time in this country,
00:52there was a charge against an Indian industrial estate in America.
01:07We wanted to have a discussion about that.
01:13They refused, they kept refusing.
01:19Then the opposition also asked for a discussion on another issue in 267.
01:28And they disallowed it as they usually do not allow 267.
01:38But even after disallowing it,
01:41they gave the opposition MPs a chance to give their statements.
01:56And there were many people who did not even give a proposal,
02:00but were called by them as well.
02:05After this, for three consecutive days,
02:14the senior MPs from the ruling party,
02:23then the minister of the association,
02:27and then the leader of the association,
02:30from the Bharatiya Janata Party,
02:33they put such allegations,
02:35that before putting them in the rules,
02:39they are asked for written permission from the chair.
02:46They put allegations against Mrs. Sonia Gandhi,
02:51about which they did not give any prior notice,
02:54nor did they give a chance to speak.
02:57This was a violation of the rule book of the assembly.
03:08The opposition was angry about all these things.
03:13And the way they were biased,
03:19people were not happy with that.
