00:00All right guys, you've probably seen on social media
00:02that really cool shot that people refer to as a stinger
00:05that launch really low and runs forever.
00:08Tiger Woods has hit a couple of those in his career.
00:10I'm gonna tell you exactly how to do it.
00:12The secret is to try to get to the ball
00:15with as little loft as possible on the club face.
00:19To do that, we have to de-loft it.
00:21And we do that by, first of all,
00:23trying to get the hands more in front of the golf ball
00:27at impact, all right?
00:29So how do we do that?
00:30We have to try to feel like the body
00:33moves left towards the target
00:35and that the hands really push forward, okay?
00:39The secret is, too, to not leave the club face
00:42too much open.
00:44And if you want a shot that really runs out,
00:47we also need to make sure that we don't hit
00:49too much down on the golf ball
00:51because the people that try this in the beginning,
00:53they just swing straight down into the ground
00:56and you're gonna create too much backspin if you do that.
00:59So a little tip is to tee up the ball a little bit,
01:01almost like the same height as a three would.
01:05If you hit too much down on the golf ball,
01:07you're literally gonna hit it underneath the golf ball
01:10and you're not gonna hit the ball at all.
01:11So this force you to be a little bit more shallow.
01:15And if you can be shallow with hands in front
01:18of the golf ball, you're gonna de-loft the club face
01:20and you're gonna lower that spin rate.
01:22So I'm gonna see if I can do it here.
01:23So move the ball actually kinda in the center
01:26of your stance.
01:28Push the hands forward already in the setup.
01:31And with the teed up ball,
01:32feel like you're swinging more around the body
01:35with the hands more in front of the golf ball
01:37and that golf ball should launch way lower and run forever.
01:43Whew!
01:49So that right there will make it popular on social media.
01:52Give it a go, share it with your friends,
01:54see what you can do.
