00:00Officials from Dubai's Road and Transport Authority have tested a five-car metro train

00:11on a stretch of completed track in Jebel Ali.

00:14The blue and white train, which can reach speeds of up to 40 kilometers an hour, was

00:18seen running through an uncompleted station a number of times.

00:22Workers carrying video cameras could be seen inside the first carriage as it traveled along

00:27the three-and-a-half-kilometer stretch.

00:29The first line of Dubai's 15.5 billion dirham metro system is expected to be complete by

00:35September of next year.

00:36The second will be ready by March 2010.

00:40The RTA says more metro trains will be seen traveling up and down the test stretch in

00:44the coming months as testing continues.
