Georgian protesters hopeful of keeping European Union membership dream alive as they take to the streets in an 11th consecutive day of protests against the ruling Georgian Dream party in Tbilisi.

00:00Journalists have joined the protests in Georgia to denounce what they call an increase in

00:05violence against the media during the coverage of ongoing mass rallies in the country.

00:11Several hundred media workers on Sunday marched down Tbilisi's Central Rastaveli Avenue holding

00:17posters and pictures of their colleagues they say had been assaulted.

00:21The demonstration comes as tens of thousands of Georgians continue their protest against

00:26the ruling party.

00:28It is the 11th day of protests in Georgia.

00:31Over the weekend the unknown masked thugs attacked a journalist and a cameraman during

00:36a live broadcast.

00:37The following day the journalists protested the attacks on more than 50 journalists who

00:43were severely injured while performing their journalistic duties.

00:47The media representatives marched to the Parliament building of Georgia where the Christmas tree

00:52had been placed earlier that morning.

00:55The journalists attached the protest posters and the photos of the injured journalists

01:00to the Christmas tree transforming it to the protest tree.
