00:48week, their support collapsed. All three of them. Because all
00:51three of them are far weaker today than they were when I took
00:55office. And let's remember why. After Hamas attacked Israel on
01:01October the 7th, 2023, when much of the world responded with
01:05horror, Iran and its proxies chose to launch a multi-front
01:09war against Israel. That was a historic mistake on Iran's part.
01:13Today, Iran's main territorial proxy, Hezbollah, is also on its
01:18back. Only 12 days ago, I spoke from the Rose Garden about the
01:23ceasefire deal in Lebanon. A deal that was only possible
01:27because Hezbollah has been badly degraded. Meanwhile, Hamas
01:32has been badly degraded as well. Iran's own military
01:36capabilities have been weakened. Iran tried two times to attack
01:40Israel and the United States and built a coalition of countries
01:44to directly defend Israel and help defeat those attacks. All
01:49this made possible for Iran and Hezbollah to continue to prop
01:54up, impossible I should say, for them to prop up the Assad
01:58regime. Additionally, Russia's support for Assad also failed.
02:03That's because Ukraine, backed by American allies, put up a
02:08wall of resistance against invading Russian forces,
02:11inflicting massive damage on the Russian forces. And that has
02:14left Russia unable to protect its main ally in the Middle East.
02:19Excuse my cold. The upshot for all this is, for the first
02:22time ever, neither Russia nor Iran nor Hezbollah could defend
02:27this abhorrent regime in Syria. And this is a direct result of
02:31the blows that Ukraine, Israel have delivered upon their own
02:36self-defense with unflagging support of the United States.
