00:00Hi, you good?
00:02How are you doing?
00:04We're good, you?
00:06You too?
00:30Hello!
00:34Good morning, how are you?
00:36Doing good?
00:38Alright then, thanks.
00:40Good, you?
00:42Yes.
00:44Good, you?
00:46How are you?
00:48I'm good.
00:50I should go.
00:52Good.
00:54I'll see you later.
00:56Bye, have a nice evening.
01:28I was here right before it burned and I didn't believe it when it actually happened.
01:49So as soon as it was announced, I had to be here, you know, I had to be here for her.
01:53She has been a sign of resilience, you know, throughout the centuries.
01:57She's been in ruin before and she's always bounced back.
02:01She's a touchstone throughout most of our ancestry, you know, most of us have somewhere
02:07in our lineage someone who's been here.
02:09It's a place that ties us all together.
02:12And I've cried so much this morning.
02:18It is just an absolute privilege to get to be here today.
02:25Because she actually bounced back.
02:26She did what I don't think anybody really thought was going to be possible.
02:31And in so little time, that's really inspiring and just amazing and she's still here.
02:42It's one of the most magnificent churches in the world.
02:45It was tragic what happened to it, I guess, five years ago.
02:51I am a Roman Catholic, so Notre Dame is very personal to me.
02:58So I was fortunate enough to visit France for business.
03:02My boss gave me a couple of extra days off to see the highlights.
03:06I found out they were doing the reopening, so I tried to get as close as I could.
03:12I'd like to get inside, but didn't have the chance.
03:17But I will come back and go inside.
03:21I am very happy to be able to be so close.
03:24Because looking at the access modalities, we realized it was going to be difficult to come and see.
03:29And finally, I am happy that we can get as close as possible and see it with less scaffolding.
03:34The facade is well prepared, so I am happy that we are here.
03:38And it's pretty beautiful, so it's nice to be able to come and see it.
03:41There aren't too many people yet, so we can enjoy it quietly.
03:43So it's nice.
03:44It's worth arriving early in Paris this morning.
03:48It's a symbol for the Immaculate Conception.
03:52Tomorrow is the first mass to be celebrated in Notre-Dame.
04:00It's a bit like the resurrection of this religious building,
04:05which is a symbol for Christians and Catholics in France,
04:09and even for all Parisians, French people, Catholics or not.
04:14Yes, it's important.
04:16We would have liked to be there even more, to be able to go inside, to go to one of the first masses.
04:22And it's important because seeing Notre-Dame being rebuilt,
04:26it shows a bit that France doesn't let go of its church and the churches it has all over its territory.
04:34And that in addition to being a religious monument, I find it a national monument.
04:38So it's important to be there for this event, which is the re-opening.
04:46More updates.
