00:30Today, I will tell you that in the first session of next year's Congress,

00:33it will amend the Local Government Law, Road Construction and Construction Law,

00:38as well as the 672 Law to strengthen law enforcement to deal with garbage insects,

00:42and to include social services in the punishment of

00:45throwing garbage anywhere, throwing garbage out of the car, and so on.

00:50Nick said that this kind of social service was implemented in our neighboring country Singapore in 1991.

00:56Our country has been behind for 33 years.

00:59In our neighboring country, no one dares to throw garbage anywhere,

01:02because everyone knows that once it is dealt with, it needs social service.

01:06And in our country, throwing garbage anywhere is just a fine of 100 yuan or 500 yuan.

01:10Everyone is not afraid.

01:12But it will be different from next year.

01:14The government will arrange for these garbage insects and cleaners to come to the washroom,

01:18to sweep the street, to wash the toilet, and to provide social service for at least two hours.

02:18also revealed at a press conference about illegal garbage dumps closing and cleaning.

02:22The Ministry of the Environment will pass the S.W. Corp,

02:25a solid waste management agency,

02:27to shut down a total of 2,634 illegal garbage dumps

02:29in seven provinces and sub-districts across the country

02:33and set a new record.

02:35The total amount of clean garbage has reached 1,556 tons,

02:39and 28 cases have been brought to court.

02:43The total fine amount is up to RMB490,000.

02:47Nick Mi revealed that the Ministry of the Environment set a goal

02:51to shut down 2,300 illegal garbage dumps earlier this year,

02:54but has shut down 2,634 so far

02:58and successfully completed the task.

03:00This year, the law enforcement officers

03:02carried out 4,134 secret inspections on illegal garbage dumps

03:05and effectively contained illegal garbage dumping.
