00:00The schedule of the Philippine National Athletes for next year is full of action.

00:05Philippine Olympic Committee President Ibraham Bambol-Tolentino has promised

00:10that he will do his part to support these athletes.

00:15That's what my teammate Rafael Bandayrel told me.

00:22After being crowned as the leader of the Philippine Olympic Committee,

00:28Ibrahim Bambol-Tolentino is back to work.

00:32That's because the Philippines will host many international competitions

00:37under his next term.

00:40In an exclusive interview with the sports banter of PTV Sports,

00:45the POC President laid out the events to look forward to in the coming years.

00:51The competitions in 2025 are included,

00:54such as the Harbin Asian Winter Games and Asian Youth Games in China,

00:59as well as the Olympic Esports Series in Saudi Arabia,

01:03Southeast Asian Games in Thailand,

01:06and the possible expansion of NAPOSPON,

01:08the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games or IMAG, in Saudi Arabia.

01:13By January, let's roll our sleeves and first start the business,

01:19focus on those international competitions.

01:23In 2026, the country's delegates will also compete

01:27in the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics in Italy,

01:31and the 20th Asian Games will be held in Nagoya, Japan.

01:36Tolentino promised the leaders of the national sports associations

01:41that he will take care of the trust given to him as the leader of the POC.

01:46We will sustain what we are doing,

01:51and we will improve because we learned a lot of lessons,

01:59we faced a lot of challenges,

02:03not only Olympics, but all the international competitions.
