Quick-thinking couple rescue kitten from drowning

A couple acted quickly to rescue a kitten from drowning.

The unnamed couple was walking by a lake in Shanghai, China, on November 16 when they heard the kitten crying out for help.

Video shows the man climbing down the wall surrounding the lake to reach the kitten, which was clinging onto the ledge.

He was quickly able to reach down and pick the drenched kitten up by the scruff of its neck and bring it to safety.
