Zelensky slams lack of Red Cross and UN help to return captive Ukrainians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says his country has not received "much assistance" from the United Nations and Red Cross in bringing back Ukrainians, including children, held in Russia.

00:00I am grateful to the state, leaders, and NGOs that have joined the work to bring back stolen Ukrainian children from Russia.

00:10We appreciate any active participation of our partners.

00:13It is necessary for the majority of the world to be on our side in this work,

00:18so that deportations and kidnapping of children will never become a norm in the world.

00:24Will we receive a lot of help from such organizations as the UN,

00:29or the International Committee of the Red Cross to protect the return of Ukrainian prisoners from Russia?

00:36Not at all.
