00:00It will be the last ever Merseyside derby, lead Merseyside derby I should say, at Gunnarsson Park.
00:05What further edge does that add to the game?
00:09Well, I mean, I'd like to think that it brings our fans to the fore again.
00:13They've supported us throughout, they question us, that's fine.
00:15I've never questioned their questioning us because that's part of the game.
00:18But on this occasion, I think it all goes out the window for this game.
00:21I've learned that it's kind of just an individual game in a season's work that means so much.
00:26We delivered a very good performance last season.
00:28We're going to have to, at home that is, we're going to have to do that again, of course,
00:32against a very good side.
00:33And I think certainly our fans can play a part in that by getting behind the players again from the off
00:38and creating that atmosphere that makes it difficult for teams to come and play here.
00:42You don't get overly emotional, but was that game at Gunnarsson Park one of the exceptions?
00:46It's not about not getting emotional.
00:48I just know the bigger jobs are always there.
00:51And that was a...
00:53Them games for me, I explained it many times.
00:55I haven't got the depth of knowledge of them games.
00:57So it's for the people.
00:58It's for the crowd.
00:59If we can win, it's for them.
01:00It's not for me.
01:02It's for me, for my role, of course, and the points.
01:04But you get what I mean?
01:05I understand the depth of it, the history of it, and I've always made that clear.
01:08So what I did enjoy is giving something back, you know, in my little part,
01:12including a team of people, my staff as well,
01:14and just giving something back to the fans, you know, that meant a lot.
01:18And we want to do that again, and we're certainly working hard to do that.
