00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. called on government troops to not be affected by the current political tensions.

00:06The chief executive said this during his visit to the Southern Luzon Command, or SOLCOM, at Camp Guillermo en Nacar in Lucena, Quezon.

00:14He encouraged the soldiers to stay focused on their mission to protect the country, rather than waste time on matters that do not make sense.

00:22Meanwhile, the chief executive praised SOLCOM for its fight against insurgency in their area.

00:27He also reminded them of the country's transition from internal to external defense amid the current geopolitical tensions.

00:34President Marcos lauded the armed forces of the Philippines for their quick response and assistance during the past calamities.
