00:00A Philippine Navy official concerns Subi Reef is now serving as anchoring hub of Chinese ships in the West Philippine Sea.

00:14explained Chinese maritime militia ships often gather near Pagasa Island, Subi Reef, and Ayumin Shoal

00:21because these areas provide safe harbor.

00:24He also noted around 150 to 200 Chinese ships can sometimes be seen at Subi Reef,

00:31which has become a naval base since China began reclamation activities in 2014.

00:37Subi Reef, now fully operational with ports, runways, and radar, is off-limits to the Philippines.
