00:20So it feels great to be recognized for a film which earned its merit, bases content, bases
00:29content, which is good film making and when a film does well with the audience, critics,
00:39media, everyone, then it feels really good.
00:42When you add respect to your work, it feels really good and to be screened here, to be
00:47nominated here, it feels honoured.
00:50There are two aspects for preparation as an artist, any physical preparation, any skill
01:03that you need to learn and second, creative aspect, that what is the soul of this character,
01:09what is this character, so to cover those two dimensions in my own way, that homework
01:17of course to learn combat, to learn weapon training, that was a different type of training
01:23in which of course it took hours, it should have taken hours because it is a very skilled
01:30job and we just have to come on screen for some time but those who actually do it, I
01:36think really hats off to them and a certain body language, a certain command, without
01:44over, without over projecting, without over done, it had to be the right balance and creatively
01:58to understand Zuni's soul, to understand who she is, what she thinks, what is her background
02:03in a nutshell, as much as you can show in a film and you have to go deep into a character's
02:12soul, to understand her, so it is not necessary to show every aspect or to come out in front
02:19of the audience but when you go so deep in your preparation, even if it is a simple
02:24scene where there are no dialogues, nothing, you are just sitting, then you will see that
02:28character only, so so much work has been done in detail, homework has been done and to get
02:34so much love for the film, to appreciate the people for that work and with a respect, what
02:39I am saying, what I feel wherever I am going, I am travelling, so it feels really good.
02:50Fantastic, of course as a husband he will always be my biggest cheerleader, my biggest
02:54support but when we work together on set, we are two professionals, this is a mutual
02:59understanding between the two of us and as we have worked before and it will be the same
03:05where there is work, there is nothing personal, if I have to correct something, I have to
03:11correct it, if I think there is an idea, I always express it, just like with my other
03:18directors and I am sure he works with me just like he works with any other actor that he
03:24works with and he is fantastic at doing it, the way he explains, the way his perspective
03:31is, you won't even know where he will take you from A to Z, so I am very fortunate to
03:34have worked with him in capacity of my director and my producer and very fortunate to have
03:40him as my husband also.
03:48See, we are simple citizens of this country, we are just like any other citizen, just like
03:56any other responsible citizen, we hope that India moves forward and the way we see India
04:03on global platforms, on global international recognition, where our country is going, in
04:11many aspects, it feels very good, it feels very proud and we hope that in whichever field
04:18we are in, I as an actor, you as a journalist or whoever you are, as much as we can, we
04:24always keep in mind and think that whatever I am doing, I am making a small contribution
04:30to make my country proud, it's always country first, so that's the hope.
04:40I think the very person in me, I think the artist is also within me, within this person
04:48but when you become a mother, everything changes overnight and it happens on its own,
04:59it's a very organic shift, everything changes and it all changes for the good, it all shifts
05:06for the good because you are responsible for another human being, whom you, I want as a
05:13mother, both Aditya and me, we should nurture her, give her good conditioning, good education,
05:19good values and of course, I will be a working mother, I have come even today, after so long,
05:27I am resuming my work and balance teaches everything, time teaches everything but yes,
05:34priority will always be family and if we look for good work, of course, we will get it and
05:42the whole idea is to balance and as a mother, I think we are conditioned and we are wired that
05:50way, where we can multitask, of course, it's challenging, of course, it's difficult but
05:56the power that you get as a mother, that feeling is the most powerful,
06:02which I feel, it's the most powerful emotion being a mother,
06:06so I am very fortunate that I was blessed with, I have been blessed with a child.
