00:12He was in a speeding BMW car that hit a bike-borne couple in Worli, dragging the woman for around 1.5 kilometers.

00:49On 7 July 2024, the victim Kaveri Nakhwa and her husband Pradeep were fish sellers.

00:55They were returning from Sasoon docks after buying fish when Mihir's car hit them from behind.

01:01While Pradeep sustained injuries, Kaveri couldn't survive.

01:05The 24-year-old was suspected to be drunk when this happened.

01:08He had partied at a bar with a few friends in Juhu late into the previous night.

01:13The bar owner told India Today that their bill amounted to Rs 18,730 and that Mihir only consumed an energy drink.

01:22They left the bar around 1.40 am and the accident took place a few hours later around 5.30 am.

01:29According to the police, Mihir was behind the wheel while his driver sat in the passenger seat.

01:35They also alleged that Rajesh advised Mihir to switch seats with the driver after the accident.

01:41Mihir disappeared after the accident.

01:44His phone, his mother's phone and his sister's phone were switched off.

01:48Mihir's father Rajesh was briefly arrested before being let out on bail for a bond of Rs 15,000.

02:15He was also removed from his post in Shiv Sena.

02:18The police were able to track Mihir and arrested him three days after the accident.
