00:06options of who you can crush on. And yeah, so I like this girl and apparently half the class

00:11liked her and I was not really in her top five or six options even in her mind and she probably

00:17didn't even know much about me. And yeah, you know, now that I'm married and I have children,

00:23I can very, you know, confidently say that love is the strongest emotion and the most

00:29important emotion in life. I'm saying you're too hot to be a father to two kids.

00:33How many times have you heard that, especially with your looks that you've designed for Kabir Singh?

00:38I actually forgot that whole thing, you know, till you get married, you know, people can walk

00:42up to you and say things to you a lot more openly. So abhi toh meko koi bolta hi nahi hai. So I hope

00:46somebody comes up and gives such compliments to me because it's nice to hear these things.

00:50You're lying, right? Everybody's saying it on social media.

01:01But do you think with their additions in your life, something changed with the perspective

01:06towards life and choices in films? I mean, you know, we always end up saying,

01:10did your perspective towards films change? But that's a very small part of my life, right? I

01:14think as a human being, you change your, you know, priorities change, your head space changes

01:20every day, what you do, where you spend your time, what you focus on, what you think about,

01:24all that changes. And if all that is going to change, that's obviously going to reflect in

01:27the kind of work that you do or the choices that you make or, you know, understand life and how

01:32you represent it as an actor, because, you know, the job that we have making is a representation

01:35of life. But has Misha understood that her father is an actor? She's figuring it out. She's still

01:43sometimes gets very confused when somebody who we don't know, you know, comes running and asks

01:48for a picture or something. And she always wonders, why is that happening? You know,

01:52so I have to explain it to her slowly. It's not easy, but she understands that I go for shooting.

01:58And she used to keep asking me, why do you go for shooting? So then I explained to her that,

02:02you know, how you go to school, that's how Papa goes for shooting. So when I drew that

02:06parallel for her, she was like, okay, fair enough. I go there and you go there.

02:09So yeah, she's still very small. Do you remember your first heartbreak?

02:13How did you deal with it? It was very bad.

02:16When was it? School.

02:18What? Give details. I want details. Why?

02:20I don't know. Why? It's very personal.

02:22I'm not going to say. No, I'm not going to say.

02:24But yeah, it was in school. I was in my 9th standard. I really liked this girl.

02:48How has your opinion on love changed over the years?

02:51A lot. A lot. My opinion on love has changed a lot.

02:53You know, what you want and what you need are not always the same thing.

02:56And that's the first thing that we all need to understand.

02:59And it comes with time because you want a lot of things

03:01which you think are what will be good for you.

03:04But actually what's good for you is not always what you're running after.

03:08And it takes time to understand. Because what we're attracted to

03:11and what is actually good for us might not necessarily be the same thing.

03:15So most of the time that's a very complex kind of dynamic to deal with.

03:18Because you want something, you crave it, you run after it, you get it.

03:23Once you get it, then it starts getting complicated.

03:25It becomes difficult to handle. Then you wonder why you wanted it.

03:28Then you start questioning love, you know.

03:30So it becomes like a difficult kind of...

03:33So you have to not do that.

03:35You have to understand that mistakes that happen,

03:37which are mistakes made on the basis of our judgment

03:41and our understanding of ourselves, love shouldn't be blamed for that.

03:44Because then you end up becoming a very pessimistic, negative person

03:47who doesn't believe in the best thing about life, which is love.

03:50You know, now that I'm married and I have children,

03:52I can very confidently say that love is the strongest emotion

03:58and the most important emotion in life.

03:59So you cannot lose faith in that.
