00:05International Airport, saying it all started after she downloaded an app.

01:30Suddenly there was a Rs. 87,000, Rs. 125 that was swiped on my credit card.

01:38It was transferred to phone pay.

01:41So I said, but I didn't buy anything because I use my credit card very sparingly.

01:46Slowly we start figuring out.

01:48So what is basically I think has happened is this lounge pass app that they asked me

01:53to download, the screen sharing, they have gone into my phone.

01:57They have gone into my settings.

02:00They've done a call forwarding.

02:01So I didn't get any calls.

02:03I don't know how many of my OTPs they've had access to.

02:06Long story short, a cybercrime case has been reported and they are on the job.

02:12My bank, which is HDFC, they've also been intimated.

02:15My card has been blocked because it is credit card.

02:17I'm going to be okay.

02:18Bhargavi shared her experience on social media, urging people to stay vigilant.

02:23After the video went viral, many social media users criticized the authorities of

02:27Bangalore International Airport, holding them responsible for the scam.

02:31However, Bhargavi posted another video revealing how the airport authorities were helping her.

02:37First and foremost, yes, it happened at the Bangalore airport,

02:41but I have not once blamed the airport for it.

02:46Within minutes of me putting out this video, authorities from the Bangalore airport

02:51identified me, reached out to me and are still in touch with me,

02:55trying to help me with the situation.

02:58They even offered to send me images of all their lounge staff asking me to identify.

03:04Unfortunately, I was really tired that day.

03:07So even if a Hrithik Roshan or Shah Rukh Khan was standing there giving me the suggestion,

03:12I might have not even recognized them.

03:14My friend went on Google, identified lounge pass,

03:20he sent me the link of the first link that was on Google.

03:25Now, are we going to blame Google for it?

03:27Because all of us trust the first page and the first five search results that come up,

03:32which most of us in the business know is paid.

03:37Now, how can we blame Google for it?

03:40And on similar grounds, how can we blame Bangalore airport for it?

03:44Cybercrime, HDFC bank have been in touch and been in regular touch,

03:49just like authorities in Bangalore airport.

03:52There is a bigger network behind this whole thing.

03:55And clearly this is organized, which everybody collectively are trying to help.

04:01In the first four months of 2024, over 7,40,000 cybercrime complaints were

04:06registered on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal

04:09and people lost over more than 1,750 crore to cybercriminals.

04:14I am young, even I fell for a scam because I was tired.

04:18Imagine what can happen to older parents.
