00:12Okay, so I have been acting since 2001, acting for camera since 2003, that's when I did my

00:39first TV show, I think. In 2014, we did Permanent Roommates. I was in class 4 or 5 and my sister

01:01must have been in class 2 and it was either Valentine's Day or Rose Day and somebody gave

01:07her a rose and a card and she got freaked out and she came to me and then we were like, oh,

01:14so let's go. I went in my gang, I beat up this guy in 2nd A and then somebody came and said,

01:24bro, this is not sandalwood, this is sandalwood from 2nd C. Then we went to 2nd C and beat up

01:30another sandal. It was pretty rough.

01:54So, first few days, he was pretty annoyed with me because I didn't know how to take light and

01:58how to stand in front of the camera. After the first week, I think he sort of took a little bit

02:06of liking to me and then he sort of trained me and groomed me into how to work with the camera

02:14and how to make friends with the camera. We were really struggling financially,

02:26the entire family and my father, his health wasn't really good. So,

02:32he had a couple of surgeries done on his legs.

02:41The first day I reached there, it was a pretty sorry sight.

02:46My mother was sleeping on the floor.

03:01And I reached there and I was like, why are we here?

03:04And he's like, I mean, you know, this is all the money we have.

03:34So, once I reached New York, we were put up at this lovely hotel. I'd never seen a suite before.

03:50I was like, this is not possible that they will give this room to me. And then I switched on the

04:00TV and it said, welcome to meet and I was like, I was in tears. Drive taxi.

04:09Yeah, for some time people thought that I'm some Pakistani actor.
